1985 Brochure - CornerStone, Introducing Spring Pond

Front page, CornerStone Collection by Corning ... Introducing New Spring PondThis brochure for retailers promotes the CornerStone Collection's newest addition, Spring Pond, and also highlights the other four patterns still available at the time, namely: Royal Garden, China Blossom, Iris, Summer Mist.

Of the original group of CornerStone patterns, Belle Grove & Glenora were already discontinued.  Iris & Summer Mist had been launched during the previous year, and the latter is featured prominently too.

It is definitely Royal Garden.  Frequently it is identified incorrectly due to a typo on the official Corelle website.  The mistake has been on the list of discontinued patterns for several years.  But without a doubt, all packaging and catalogues call it Royal Garden, and it was never re-named.
