Corelle Profile: Forget-Me-Not (1983)

Forget-Me-Not was introduced in 1983, with a design of small blue flowers circling the centre of the plate and green bands on the rim.  Its narrow rimmed plate style, borrowed from Dimension IV, makes it unique among the patterns of the Expressions line.  This is the only floral design to appear on the narrow rimmed shape.

Bowls & saucers are decorated only with a medium green band, and closed-handle cups, creamers and sugar bowls are made of Centura.  Platters have a central pattern and a coloured band on the rim.  Forget-Me-Not was discontinued early 1986 when the Expressions product line was dropped.

This is the first Corelle pattern to be given this name, and the predominant colour is blue with green & yellow.  The second pattern's name is spelled "Forget Me Not", and it is a pastel design in pale purple, yellow and light green with a coupe plate shape, launched in 2001.
