1956 Advertisement - Pyrex Pie Plates, Nesting Bowls, Casseroles

A page from the April 9 1956 issue of Life magazine advertises a special price for pie plates and lists prices for a few more products in clear Pyrex and opal Pyrex.

228 pie plates on sale until April 30 1956.  229s sold for 69¢ at the time.

Alongside the usual multi-colour sets, Pink & Turquoise were the newest solid colours for round nesting bowls & refrigerator dishes.  The six choices in 024 casseroles might be: Flamingo, Turquoise, Pink, Desert Yellow, Desert Pink, pale Yellow.  Lime was discontinued around this time.
